Bulwark & Holm to establish enhanced network security across the Middle East

Jose Thomas Menacherry

Organizations in the Middle East will be able to better protect themselves against businesscrippling cyber hacks that cost the region millions of dollars every year, thanks to a new partnership between Bulwark Distribution FZCO and Holm Security.

The cost of cyber security incidents within the Middle East has reached a new high of $6.93 million US dollars per data breach, according to IBM’s ‘Cost of a Data Breach Report 2022’. This figure is significantly higher than the global cost per incident, which is $4.24 million U.S dollars. To overcome the ever-growing threat landscape, the partnership between Bulwark and Holm Security will offer enhanced system & network vulnerability scanning to customers across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“Adequately managing the security of your systems and networks is a monumental task without the right solution in place, especially in the Middle East where attacks continue to rise”, said Holm Security CEO and founder Stefan Thelberg. “As a result of our partnership with Bulwark, businesses will be able to get complete coverage of their vulnerabilities across all types of assets, leading to an increased cyber security posture across their overall attack surface”.

As a result of this new partnership, businesses in the region will be given the ability to uncover, monitor and control vulnerabilities across their entire business infrastructure which will help them prevent against the sort of high profile attacks that saw high profile oil giants held to ransom for tens of millions of dollars in exchange for data.

“We are delighted to offer Holm Security’s innovative platform to our customers across the Middle East. This will play a crucial role in ensuring stronger lines of defence against malicious attacks, giving businesses the means to identify and mitigate system and network vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. Our customers can now rest assured they can go about their business knowing that the most critical vulnerabilities are being found, prioritized and actioned,” said Jose Menacherry, Managing Director, Bulwark.

Holm Security’s Next-Gen Vulnerability Management Platform automatically scans for an ever-increasing number of vulnerabilities, with continuous vulnerability and policy scans across local and public networks that can be customized based on user requirements. Assets can then be effectively organized, tracked, and analyzed based on which reflect the most significant risks to operations. With this threat intelligence, organizations understand where to prioritize their efforts in cyber security.

As a value-added distributor, Bulwark will provide Holm Security’s NextGen Vulnerability Management Platform to Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and other organizations to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within their networks. As a result of this partnership, Bulwark can now offer extensive training, managed services, and check-ups from Holm Security to further enhance a customer’s cyber security profile.
